The American Duchess is the first all-suite paddlewheeler on U.S. rivers, a floating, intimate masterpiece that can carry up to 166 guests through America's heartland. This interesting town is home to the historic John Hossack House, a significant station on the Underground Railroad and now on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Day 4 | Peru / LaSalle, IL: Once known as "River City" due to its favorable location along the river, this quaint port was at one time a significant steamboat hub and boasts an interesting history for all to enjoy.
