General Info:

Travel deep into the Southern Caribbean to Aruba and beyond, to less-visited islands and the treasures of the Spanish Main. Days at sea are thoughtfully interspersed with days in charming Southern Caribbean favorites. Go horseback riding on a white-sand beach in Aruba. Ride a horse-drawn carriage through Cartagena's Old City past bougainvillea-covered balconies and open-air barbershops. Return to your Windstar yacht for a deck barbecue with a view that puts gold bullion to shame.

Type of Vessel

With only 212 guests, you begin to feel like it's your own private yacht almost as soon as you step aboard. The sitting area of your spacious suite gives you an expansive ocean view, making it a welcome retreat. When you're ready to make an appearance, the lounges, club, casino and library are waiting to be explored. Take some "you" time in the tranquil WindSpa, enjoy a dip in the pool, work off that decadent dessert in the Fitness Center and, of course, you are always welcome to visit the Bridge to examine navigation charts with the Captain. Star Breeze is large enough to pamper and entertain you, yet small enough to tuck into delightful tiny harbors and hidden coves that others can’t reach.

Itinerary

Day 1 | Bridgetown, Barbados: Jolly old England comes to life in the city and its garrison, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Further afield, you’ll find historic sugar plantations and the fairyland magic of Harrison’s Cave.

Day 2 | Bequia, St. Vincent & The Grenadines The only ships in port are those small enough to anchor alongside the yachts and fishing boats in Admiralty Bay. Bequia’s whaling heritage is on display in the museum in pretty Port Elizabeth, or watch the island’s famed model boat builders at work on their miniature masterpieces.

Day 3 | At Sea: Guests can enjoy the amenities that the Star Breeze has to offer.

Day 4 | Oranjestad, Aruba: Known for having some of the best beaches in the Caribbean, this Dutch port makes it easy to just take it easy. Walk through town to choose your favorite carved wooden door, or spend the day like the Arubans do playing dominos at a beachside table.

Day 5 | At Sea: Guests can enjoy the amenities that the Star Breeze has to offer.

Day 6 | Cartagena, Colombia: Welcome to the sparkling city of Cartagena, where the gold and jewels of the Spanish Main awaited shipment across the Atlantic. No pirate could resist, nor will you be able to when you visit this historic city. The Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is surrounded by 400-year-old walls and contains a plethora of churches, fortresses, and restored colonial mansions. Outside the walls are more treasures where you can climb the massive Castillo de San Felipe to investigate its maze of hidden tunnels, or shop for the perfect emerald.

Day 7 | At Sea: Guests can enjoy the amenities that the Star Breeze has to offer.

Day 8 | Colon, Panama: Explore the inner workings of the Panama Canal, head into the jungle to meet with Embera Indians, or take an aerial tram ride through the rainforest canopy.
