General Info:

By departing from magical San Juan instead of from Florida, your Caribbean cruise vacation begins earlier, on day one. And with ten days instead of the usual seven, you have time to take the full measure of this most iconic part of the Caribbean. Everywhere you look is another cover shot image. Dazzling white sand turns the shallows mesmerizing shades of peacock and mermaid, weathered fortresses point canons at long-vanished schooners, natural pools warm gently under the mid-day sun. On your private yacht, you’re equally at home in exclusive harbors and anchored off barefoot beaches, so you can see it all. Snorkel or dive on vibrant coral reefs. Follow your siren inland to rainforest adventures or duty-free boutiques.

Type of Vessel

With only 212 guests, a Star Pride cruise will make you feel like you're on board your own private yacht almost as soon as you step aboard. The sitting area of your spacious, newly refurbished suite gives you an expansive ocean view, making it a welcome retreat. When you're ready to make an appearance, the lounges, club, casino, screening room, and library are waiting to be explored. Take some "you" time in the tranquil WindSpa, enjoy a dip in the pool, work off that decadent dessert in the fitness center, and, of course, you are always welcome to visit the Bridge to examine navigation charts with the Captain.

Itinerary

Day 1 | San Juan, Puerto Rico: This new port for Windstar holds centuries of history. Your elegant yacht docks right in Old San Juan where you’ll find some 400 historic buildings.

Day 2 | Isla Culebra, Puerto Rico: Pirates once found refuge in these secluded cays. Today you’ll find a refuge of a different kind where larger ships can’t follow at the Culebra National Wildlife Refuge – home to giant sea turtles, sea birds, and some of the most unblemished coral reefs in the Caribbean.

Day 3 | Gustavia, St. Barthelemy: The Caribbean’s answer to St. Tropez offers a dizzying array of choices: shop chic French boutiques, inspect the bounty of shells at Shell Beach, or sail a catamaran to the Marine Park at Colombier Bay.

Day 4 | Falmouth Harbour, Antigua: It’s said that Antigua has 365 beaches – one for every day of the year. See how many you can discover as our stay in port stretches to midnight to accommodate them all. Watch the stars come out as darkness falls and imagine how residents of Andromeda must envy you.

Day 5 | Les Saintes, Guadeloupe: This bay is famous for its crystal clear water, an irresistible invitation to go snorkeling or explore by clear-bottomed kayak. Or stay dry and climb to Fort Napoleon for some of the most dramatic harbor views in the Caribbean.

Day 6 | Pigeon Island, St. Lucia: Soak up watercolor vistas of emerald mountains and turquoise waters as we make our way past the coral reef to tiny Pigeon Island. Once home to a peg-legged pirate, then a British fort, this beach-fringed island offers a magical day.

Day 7 | At Sea: Guests can enjoy the day among the many fun and relaxing amenities that the Star Pride has to offer.

Day 8 | Philipsburg, St. Maarten: Pastel-colored buildings and shops filled with tempting souvenirs herald your arrival to bustling Philipsburg. Situated near the harbor on the Dutch side of St. Maarten, Philipsburg owes its discovery to Christopher Columbus in 1493. Today, celebrated Front Street is home to a number of local Creole restaurants as well as jewelry stores, stylish boutiques, and lively casinos for visitors seeking an upbeat island experience.

Day 9 | Virgin Gorda, Prickly Pear Beach, B.V.I.: “The Baths” are a must-see while you’re here; a divine cluster of grottoes and pools nestled between granite boulders.

Day 9 & 10 | Jost Van Dyke, Great Harbour, B.V.I.: This tiny island is a legend in yachting circles. Snorkel among swaying sponges and angelfish at Sandy Spit, or enjoy the natural Jacuzzi at Bubbly Pool.

Day 11 | San Juan, Puerto Rico: This new port for Windstar holds centuries of history. Your elegant yacht docks right in Old San Juan where you’ll find some 400 historic buildings.
