Itinerary

Day 1 | Porto, Portugal: Welcome to Porto where you'll board the luxurious Scenic Azure for your cruise of the idyllic Douro Valley.

Day 2 | Regua, Portugal: Today, enjoy on board activities such as traditional tile painting, or simply relax as your luxurious Scenic Space-Ship meanders its way to Regua where you have the chance to explore the Douro Museum at your leisure. Learn about the culture, history and identity of the people living in this wine-growing region of the Douro Valley.

Day 3 | Vega de Terron, Portugal: Tour the elegant town of Lamego, or enjoy a guided visit of the iconic Mateus Palace, which graces the labels of its famous. Enjoy a full afternoon cruising the World Heritage-listed Vinhateiro wine region as you continue towards Spain.

Day 4 | Salamcana, Spain: Discover Salamanca's architecture, as visually striking as it is historically intriguing. Later, celebrate Spanish culture with lunch showcasing the local cuisine while you enjoy a Flamenco dance performance.

Day 5 | Pochino, Portugal and Pinhao, Portugal: Take a leisurely cruise this morning to nearby Pocinho. Visit the award winning C' Valley Museum or, if you're a little more adventurous at heart, take a canoeing excursion on the Sabor River. Alternatively, join the "Tastes of the C ' Valley" excursion.

Day 6 | Porto, Portugal: Visit the remarkable village of Provesende, showcasing the Portugal of yesteryear. Wander the atmospheric streets of this quaint village with the locals as they proudly introduce you to their way of life - an experience exclusive for Scenic guests. The beauty of San Francisco Church is sure to impress. The facade is a mixture of Gothic and Baroque architecture, while the interior glows with intricate wood carvings covered in gold. Witness a spectacular private concert in these wondrous surroundings.

Day 7 | Porto, Portugal: Today, discover the historic treasures of Porto, including a visit to Palacio da Bolsa. Tour Guimaraes and Ducal Palace, or enjoy a tasting in the fairytale environs of Quinta Aveleda.

Day 8 | Porto, Portugal: Your leisurely cruise of Portugal's Douro Valley concludes after breakfast and you'll be transferred to Porto Airport with all your wonderful memories intact.

Food and Dining

River Cafe provides a wonderful range of delicious light meals, snacks and refreshments that guests can enjoy any time. Open early in the morning for early risers looking for breakfast, until late afternoon, the River Cafe has something for every craving.
Crystal Dining offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Relax in the comfortable open seating for two to eight guests and enjoy a wide range of cuisines from local specialties to a seafood gala evening. A la carte menus are available daily.
Panorama Lounge and Bar is where guests can relax, catch up with new friends and enjoy the evening's entertainment. The bar's always open and there's tea and coffee making facilities; along with a selection of board and card games plus a comprehensive library.
Sun Deck is where guests can happily spend hours lost in a book, enjoy the Teppanyaki BBQ or simply soak up the views. With plenty of comfortable seating and a walking track for those active guests, there is an option for everyone.

Onboard Activities/Events

On board you'll have full access to a wellness area, complete with massage services and a hair salon, a gym, special on board entertainment, Wi-Fi internet, e-bikes, cooking classes, tastings, and culinary demonstrations.

Balcony Suites are located on the Sapphire and Diamond Decks and feature a full-length outdoor balcony with the exclusive Scenic Sun Lounge system and offer private bathrooms with a luxurious vanity basin and shower.
Royal Suites are the largest featured on the ships and allow you to enjoy fantastic views of the passing scenery from your private balcony complete with Scenic Sun Lounge. Each Suite has a separate lounge area and a luxurious bathroom offering a separate bath and shower.
