Itinerary

Day 1: USA / Tokyo |

Arrive in Tokyo with your loved one and meet your private transfer bound for the romantic Grand Hyatt Tokyo for three nights in an elegant Club guestroom with exclusive Regency Club lounge access with daily breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. Day 2: Tokyo |

This morning, head out for a full-day, Panoramic Tokyo Excursion with a licensed English guide interpreter. Begin at the Imperial Palace, home to the family of Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako, exploring its beautifully intricate gardens and landscaping. Then, head to Tsukiji, an area known as Tokyo's Kitchen with its bustling market and shops where Tokyo's top chefs shop for high-quality fish. Finally, discover Tokyo's oldest Buddhist temple, Senso-ji, displaying its giant red paper lantern at the Kaminarimon Gate and festive Nakamise Shopping. The rest of the day is yours to explore the many sights of Tokyo.

Day 3: Tokyo / Hakone |

No trip to Tokyo would be complete without setting eyes on the majestic Mount Fuji. Travel to Hakone, continuing to Mount Fuji's famous 5th Station at 7,550 feet on the Mount Fuji & Hakone Adventure. Explore Hakone and Mount Fuji's famous 5th Station at an elevation of 7,550 feet, its natural surroundings and stunning vistas. Then, cruise pristine Lake Ashi before a ride on Komagatake's Ropeway to the summit, offering amazing views.

Day 4: Tokyo |

Enjoy a day at leisure to discover Tokyo's wealth of cultural attractions and museums, fashionable boutiques, generous green spaces and exceptional cuisine.

Day 5: Kyoto |

After a delectable breakfast, journey to Kyoto. Upon arrival, board your private transfer bound for The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto. Day 6: Kyoto |

Enjoy a Kyoto Afternoon Excursion, with a licensed English guide interpreter, home to more than 2,000 temples and sublime gardens for an authentic Japanese experience. Visit UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kiyomizu Temple , and take a spiritual journey through the thousands of brilliant red torii gates of Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine. Then be mesmerized by Sanjusangen-do Temple's 1,000 life-size statues of Buddhist Kannon deities dating back to the 13rth century.

Day 7: Kyoto |

Embark on the Kyoto & Nara Excursion, with a licensed English guide interpreter. Begin at the residence of the Tokugawa shoguns of Kyoto at the imposing Nijo Castle, and the Kinkakuji Temple, also known as the Golden Pavilion. Enjoy lunch before visiting Nara's 8th-century Todaiji Temple complex and park. Marvel at Vairocana, the largest Buddha in Japan and the sacred statues in Daibutsu Hall. Together stroll the beautiful grounds of Nara Park (particularly spectacular during the Cherry Blossom season late March through much of April), delighting at the hundreds of deer that roam freely.

Day 8: Kyoto |

Immerse in a day of history on the Hiroshima & Miyajima Excursion with a licensed English guide interpreter. A bullet train takes you to Hiroshima station where you will meet your guide and embark on a picturesque boat ride to the island of Itsukushima and the ancient Miyajima's Itsukushima Shrine. Marvel at its floating torii gate and the spiritual legends it beholds. Then visit Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park & Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome, dedicated to the legacy of the first nuclear bomb attack.

Days 9 - 10: Kyoto / USA |

Kick-start your last day in Japan with a leisurely traditional breakfast before experiencing the endless possibilities of Kyoto. With 16 UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kyoto, discover the enchantment of shrines and temples, museums and impeccable gardens.

Celebrate your final evening with eclectic flavors of a Japanese dinner of tempura in the nearby district of Gion. Enjoy the dances of the young Geisha or "Maiko" as you bid sayonara to this remarkably enchanting country. The next day, board your private transfer to Kansai International Airport and begin planning your next Japanese getaway.
