Day 1: Hobart |

Day 2: Franklin |

Start the day with a continental breakfast or hot buffet complemented by daily made-to-order specialties as you cruise the Huon River to the township of Franklin. Visit the Wooden Boat Centre where you will unveil the secrets of Franklin's maritime history. Then, learn the process of sheep cheese-making at the family-run Grandvewe Cheeses, with time for a taste of unique, sheep whey vodka before a visit to the Woodbridge Marine Discovery Centre or Pepperberries Garden Cafe and Art Farm.

Day 3: Port Davey / Bathurst Harbour |

Following your delicious breakfast, explore the pristine wilderness of Port Davey. A marine reserve and part of the Tasmanian wilderness World Heritage area, discover wild rivers, exposed reefs, sheltered bays and extraordinary marine and wildlife. Explore the Narrows from the ship's tender and engage in a guided hike of Balmoral Hill or Mount Beattie Track, where stunning views abound from the summit. Marvel at surrounding Melaleuca and weave through the forest and plains on the Needwonnee Walk. Then, enjoy kayaking on the sheltered waterway of Bathurst Harbor to conclude your day in this remarkable region.

Day 4: Bruny Island / Adventure Bay |

Savor a light continental breakfast or customized specialty as you prepare for today's exploration. Board the tender to the Fluted Capes at the eastern end of the bay. Join optional hikes to the sheer coastal cliffs or get up close to the dolerite formations of Penguin Island from the Xplorer vessel. Learn about Adventure Bay's storied maritime history, complete with early explorers, its convict past and remnants of the whaling industry, on your way to Grassy Point.

Reminisce about your day of discovery as you gather with your new cruising friends in the dining room tonight for a sumptuous three-course dinner with a choice of main course options, accompanied by carefully curated wines, featuring artisanal Australian and New Zealand varietals.

Day 5: Freycinet National Park / Wineglass Bay or Maria Island

Tender to the spectacular Freycinet National Park, its red and pink granite mountains rising from the sea and surrounded by the crystal clear blue bay, sandy beaches, and eucalyptus forest backdrop. Take an optional guided hike along the Lookout or Isthmus track to the alluring Wineglass Bay Beach, touted as one of Australia's "must see" beaches.

Just off the east coast of Tasmania, discover the spectacular island Park of Maria Island. A natural wildlife sanctuary and off-shore retreat with historic ruins, Maria Island National Park offers secluded bays, the dramatic Painted and Fossil cliffs, and a virtual Noah's Ark of native wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, Tasmanian Devils and more than 120 bird species. Stroll the convict ruins of Point Lesueur at Long point, discover the shellfish fossil beds at Fossil Cliffs, or visit World Heritage-listed Darlington.

Enjoy impromptu stops for drinks and appetizers as the sun sets, or enjoy a full barbeque or dinner on the beach as you reflect on your exciting day of adventure and discovery.

Day 6: Tasman National Park |

Start the day with fresh fruits and yogurts or enjoy a fully-cooked breakfast in the dining room before embarking on today’s tender adventure to Tasman National Park. A region brimming with dramatic beauty and natural diversity, marvel at the nearly 1,000-foot sea cliffs and monumental dolerite rock formations, including the Tasman Arch, The Candlestick and Cathedral. Keep your cameras handy for sightings of lounging fur seals, dolphins and legendary albatross seabirds. Then, engage in an optional bushwalk to explore the stunning landscape up close, with its magnificent cliff outlooks, surging ocean, distant islands and beaches.

Day 7: Port Arthur |

Your final day of adventure awaits in the UNESCO World Heritage Port Arthur Historic Site. On this informative excursion, go behind the scenes of Australia's one time penal colony, now home to more than 30 buildings, historic ruins and restored 19th-century homes. Uncover the secrets as you explore private relics of the past and enjoy Tasmanian wines and appetizers with an exclusive reception.

Toast to your final evening with your favorite Australian wine or handcrafted cocktail as you watch the sunset over the horizon. Then, celebrate your voyage of discovery and adventure with a sumptuous three-course dinner as the Coral Discoverer heads to its last port.

Day 8: Tasmania / USA |

Following your breakfast this morning, disembark at the designated time and transfer to your post-cruise hotel or airport for your flight home to begin planning your next cruising adventure in the land down under.
