Itinerary

Day 1:  Your Home City / New York |

Board your flight from your home city bound to New York City. Once you land, meet your private transfer and head to The Westin New York at Times Square where children 17 and younger stay complimentary. Enjoy the next five nights in a traditional room with every comfort and amenity to make your stay unforgettable. Relax in modern style with Westin Heavenly Beds and Bath, and children 12 and younger will receive a welcome knapsack filled with surprises to make their stay fun and engaging. Located in midtown Manhattan, you are now steps from Times Square, Broadway, Restaurant Row and unlimited outlets for shopping, fun and entertainment for kids of all ages. A must see for the whole family is the M&M's World Time Square for a two-story display of the delicious candy, customizable for your eating pleasure. Then, check out the lights of Times Square as the sun goes down and delight in the endless selection of dining options. From pizza venues and street-side hot dog stands to signature restaurants and unique hot spots, the options are infinite.

Day 2: New York City |

After breakfast, use your New York Explorers Pass to choose up to seven family-friendly attractions from more than 50 options. Don your helmets and board your bikes for a tour of Central Park, with a stop along the lake for a picnic lunch. Experience the Empire State Building with its Art Deco lobby, Dare to Dream and Sustainability exhibits, and ride the elevator up to the 86th floor observation deck for panoramic views. For the dinosaur fan in the family, visit the American Museum of Natural History with its famous fossils as shown in the film, Night at the Museum, a 563-carat Star of India sapphire and 94-foot whale model. After an exciting day in the city, dine on a relaxing dinner on Restaurant Row and reminisce about the favorite places you visited.

Day 3: New York City |

Begin your day with an informative Statue of Liberty cruise. Sail the Hudson River and marvel at this amazing landmark up close. See Ellis Island where so many entered the United States, as well as sights of the Freedom Tower and the World Financial Center. Following your cruise, head to the Meatpacking District where you will find cobblestone streets, family-run shops and upscale dining including Chelsea Market where The Food Network's many shows are filmed. Stop in at The Sugar Factory for the world-famous King Kong sundae or sweet beverage.

Later, head to the Bronx for an evening of sporting fun at Yankee Stadium and experience major league baseball at its finest. Be sure to try the fare at Parms, Lobel's of New York, the Malibu Rooftop Deck or Brother Jimmy's BBQ for a delicious seventh-inning stretch inside the park.

Day 4: New York City |

Following your morning buffet at the Foundry Kitchen, head out for a day of discovery and exploration while continuing to use your New York Explorers Pass. For kids who love surprises, mind-bending mysteries, unusual artifacts and thrilling interactive exhibits, explore all things outlandish at Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square. For art admirers, revel in the works of the masters at the Guggenheim Museum or Museum of Modern Art. For a bird's eye view of the city skyline 800-feet above street-level, the Top of the Rock at 30 Rockefeller Plaza is your destination. Or, take a photo with a real Rockette dancer on the Radio City Stage Door tour. When the sun goes down, see the city come alive with an illuminating skyline display aboard a twilight sightseeing cruise. From the brilliance of the Empire State Building and Governor's Island to the lights of the Brooklyn Bridge, cruise New York's fabled waterways for a magical city perspective.

Day 5:  New York City |

Take a transformational journey with the 9/11 Tribute Center and tour. Set up in the old New York fire department station, experience heart-felt tributes, insights and informative displays about this solemn day in our nation's history. Explore the twin towers reflecting pools, featuring the largest man-made waterfalls in North America, and the bronze panels inscribed with the names of those who were lost that day. For further inspiration, visit the Global Welcome Center at the ground level of the Freedom Tower, the nation's tallest skyscraper, before boarding one of the Sky Pods to the observatory for breathtaking views of the city.

For a dazzling finale to your New York experience this evening, head to the streets of Broadway. See Simba come to life at The Lion King, learn the stories of the Land of Oz in Wicked or rock out at Andrew Lloyd Weber's School of Rock for a memorable family evening. The kids will be singing show tunes for years to come.

Day 6: New York City |

Say goodbye to the Big Apple as you board your homebound flight, and begin planning your next family adventure together.
