Located on Motu Piti Aau, a coral island on the barrier reef, the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa is reached by a 20-minute shuttle boat ride from the Bora Bora airstrip across the sapphire lagoon.

General Information

The ideal Bora Bora Honeymoon Resort is secluded and exclusive, set on a beautiful coral islet featuring luxury overwater villas, award-winning spa, three restaurants, fitness center and pristine beach for pure relaxation. In summer 2017 private plunge pools were added to ten of the spacious villas, and four “Villas Teramoana” were added to the end of the pontoons for the ultimate in luxury and privacy. The Villas Teramoana are available in a one- or two-bedroom configuration.

Villa Description

All villas are over the water, and they comprise 70 villas, 10 villas with private pool and 4 luxury suites. Amenities include private sun deck with exterior fresh water shower, complimentary WiFi, bathroom with separate shower and bath and double sink, sea water air conditioning, ceiling fans, sofa bed, mini bar, tea and espresso coffee facilities, electronic safety box with inside AC plug, 2 flat screen televisions with local & international channels, CD & DVD players, international direct dial telephones, Bose docking station for iPod, walk in dressing, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries.
The Villas Teramona provide stunning views of Mt. Otemanu and are perfect for those seeking privacy. The overwater suite measures 2,335 square feet, including the 1,140-square-foot terrace. The private, outdoor pool is 205 square feet and is adjacent to the spacious shaded terrace and sundeck with sun loungers for sun bathing and direct access into the lagoon. A freshwater shower is also located on the sundeck. The suite is modern and luxurious and features sleek, contemporary décor with traditional Polynesian design touches. This suite features one or two bedrooms (depending on the requested configuration) with a plush king-size bed (or twin beds on request) that faces a large picture window and overlooks the lagoon and the island. Each suite also has an expansive living room and dining table for six. The bathroom features a separate shower and large bathtub, double washbasin and complimentary range of luxury amenities. The bathtub faces a picture window for enjoying views while soaking in the tub.

Daily housekeeping, laundry service, rental car desk, tour desk, foreign currency exchange, babysitting, business center, overwater wedding chapel and wedding services, regular boat shuttle to the main island of Bora Bora, 24-hour room service, transit rooms for showering and changing.

Restaurants

Reef Restaurant and Terrace: Opens onto the patio and out to the lagoon. Serves breakfast and dinner, with two dinner shows weekly.
Sands Bar and Restaurant: Located on the hotel beach serves lunch and dinner. Open from 11:00am to 9:30pm for light meals or snacks as well as exotic cocktails.
Le Corail: Gourmet dinners served in an elegant, air-conditioned environment.
Bubbles Bar: Overlooking the beach, lagoon and Mt. Otemanu. Serves drinks, exotic cocktails and light snacks. Happy Hour daily at 5:00 pm.
South Beach Bar offers drinks, smoothies and snacks in a shady coconut grove near the white sand beach.

Recreation

Outrigger canoe, kayak, volleyball, snorkeling (free equipment), pedal-boat, boccia Ball, star gazing sessions, pareo tying lessons, palm frond weaving, and various board games.

Spa

Deep Ocean Spa by Algotherm is a Thalssao Spa offering treatments using deep sea water to replenish the body’s minerals and restore equilibrium.
