After being lovingly restored to its former grandeur, No.10 avenue d’Iéna’s “Palais” was reborn as Shangri-La Paris in December 2010. Centrally located in the 16th arrondissement, minutes from the Champs-Elysées, the hotel blends European grandeur with traditional Asian hospitality.

Each of the 100 guestrooms and suites are individually designed in a distinct French-meets-Asian style, dominated by a calming Rococo color scheme and bathed in natural light. Commanding spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower or Avenue d’Iéna, many rooms can interconnect to accommodate larger families or groups. Amenities include Premium GUERLAIN toiletries, plush bathrobes and slippers, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, feather duvet and pillows, Shangri-La signature bed featuring patented body-contouring technology, flat-screen television with satellite cable and in-house movie channels, high-speed WiFi and broadband Internet access, television embedded in the bathroom mirror, electronic in-room safe, Nespresso coffee machine, tea-making facilities and minibar.

Spacious suites combine the elegance of Shangri-La’s Asian heritage with classic French art de vivre. Draped in shades of ecru, gold and white, these one-bedroom suites feature a large separate living room with custom furnishings and textured wall panels. La Bauhinia | Recalls the Asian origins of the Shangri-La group and offers a unique atmosphere in the heart of the palace. Above the restaurant, the extraordinary glass "dome", designed by the famous architect Maurice Gras, bathes the restaurant in light. The Executive Chef Christophe Moret and the Pastry Chef Maxence Barbot have prepared a seasonal menu inspired by the regions of France, all in delicacy and lightness. To celebrate the arrival of summer, La Bauhinia takes up residence on the terrace bordering the superb French-style garden of the Shangri-La, Paris. Located in the heart of the historic building, the former home of Prince Roland Bonaparte, this true haven of peace welcomes its guests away from prying eyes and the tumult of Paris for a timeless experience.
Shang Palace |
Europe's first Shang Palace restaurant opened in Paris in 2011. In 2012, it became the only Chinese restaurant in France to be awarded a Michelin star. Inspired by Southeast China's culinary traditions, the restaurant offers authentic Chinese cuisine by Chef Samuel Lee. The venue includes a main dining room and two private dining rooms; Tang can host until 12 guests and Qing Ming has a capacity of 24 guests maximum.
Le Bar Botaniste |Celebrates botany with rare botanical spirits. The nature-inspired bar features plants under cloches in each corner, and authentic absinthe fountains. Enjoy a new experience: the Sabering. Every day at 7pm, guests will travel back in time to the 18th century at Le Bar Botaniste. The team will demonstrate the art of champagne sabering, a historic technique that became popular during the reign of Napoleon Bonaparte.
Summer Rooftop Bar | Expect a redesigned with modern yet luxury decor at their favorite terrace to taste the most emblematic Champagne of the House - the Krug Grande Cuvée - paired perfectly with the exclusive savory bites... perfect for Parisian summer evenings.

Recreation

Located in what were once Prince Roland Bonaparte’s stables, the 17 x 6m swimming pool is bathed in natural daylight thanks to enormous glass windows, as is the fitness room.

Spa

Chi, The Spa | Draws inspiration from the legendary Shangri-La – a place of personal peace, enchantment and well-being. Located in what were originally the stables of Prince Roland Bonaparte’s hotel particular, Chi, The Spa includes fitness facilities, a pool with outdoor terrace and a beauty treatment centre. Two spacious and elegant treatment rooms offer a selection of facial and body treatments from The Organic Pharmacy brand.

Fitness

State-of-the-art fitness equipment includes cycling machines and treadmills, an elliptical trainer, a stepper, and Vario cardio-training and multi-functional exercise machines.
