Villa Cortez | This private resort residence is supremely located on its own private beach on the South side of the resort, and fashioned with the chic elegance of a modern-day hacienda, the expansive four-bedroom Villa Cortez embraces more than 10,000 square feet of resplendent living space. Enjoy a private infinity-edge pool, each bedroom showcases its own sumptuously appointed bathroom and an open floor plan which flows into another 2,000 square feet of outdoor living space directly on the beach. Uniquely styled with authentic Mexican artistry and flourishes of the sea, Villa Cortez invites you to live, work and play in-residence with a 12-person private screening theatre, state-of-the-art gym, a leather-panelled home office, full exterior and interior kitchen facilities, private infinity-edge pool, palapa-style poolside seating with fire-pit, outdoor rain shower and indulgent spa. Villa Cortez accommodates up to 8 adults and 2 children.

Villa One has a private entrance that opens to the great room, where glass doors open 30 feet wide to reveal dramatic views of the 48 x 13-foot ocean infinity-edge pool, surrounded by the private gardens, the sea beyond and sky. The style is distinctively modern with natural materials from Mexico, endless views and clean architectural lines, all showcasing the splendor of the surroundings of the resort. Reminiscent of a glass house, the Villa offers floor to ceiling glass doors throughout, providing infinite views, yet the ultimate privacy. The living and dining areas feature an open display kitchen, perfect for entertaining.
Villa One has 4 bedrooms plus additional butler suite. Two master King-size bedrooms with private terrace and ocean views, one double Queen-size bedroom, and one private King Size with its own bathroom, state-of-the-art screening room for 12, in-home spa, outdoor table with chairs, one full interior kitchen, one exterior kitchen with BBQ facilities, and one full separate kitchen for staff, pool terrace with daybeds and outdoor lounges for entertaining, flat-screen satellite TV with DVD/CD player, surround sound audio system, binoculars for whale-watching and star-gazing, Lady Primrose bath amenities, hairdryer, safe deposit box, and pool waters toys upon request.

Room Details

Each of One&Only Palmilla’s 174 oceanfront guest rooms and suites have been enhanced, with new furnishings, fabrics and color schemes, plus a complete makeover of the rooms in the classic Tres Palmas building. As always, to underscore One&Only Palmilla’s unique atmosphere, every single guest is served by a butler whose role is to cater to each guest’s comfort, need and whim. The resort’s exclusive Villa Cortez – a four-bedroom beachside residence, complete with private pool, beach access, gardens, lavish entertainment areas, a 12-seat private screening room, study and staff quarters – has also been completely restyled. Villa One, located on the highest point of the resort, is the newest four-bedroom Villa offering dramatic sweeping views of the property and the Sea of Cortez.

SEARED features Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten who brings his internationally renowned culinary style to the One&Only Hotel in Palmilla. Seared showcases a selection of the finest steaks, as well as the freshest Pacific seafood, accompanied by delicious sauces, side dishes and the country’s most complete wine list.
Agua by Larbi is where Chef Larbi Dahrouch and his team welcome guests throughout the day to enjoy farm-to-table dining offering authentic Mexican cuisine with some Mediterranean influences. Nestled in one of the resort’s most iconic seaside locations, the open and airy Agua by Larbi is beautifully designed with an earth-to-air theme.
Breeze features the resort’s central terrace leads guests to the casual outdoor restaurant Breeze. With captivating views overlooking the Sea of Cortez and all-day menu’s featuring fresh light fare and Mexican specialties.
Suviche offers an outstanding preparation of fresh sushi and sashimi together with a striking selection of Mexican ceviches the menu at Suviche offers a unique international flair. Infused with the signature French-Asian influences of Jean-Georges, the result is cuisine that transcends any expectations. Golf

The Palmilla Resort & Golf Club features a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature designed golf course features deep arroyos and scenic ocean views tempting even the most seasoned of golf enthusiasts. The masterfully conceived par-72 course is stunning and challenging with three distinctive nines – the Arroyo, the Mountain and the Ocean – with spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez on every hole. One&Only Spa offers boasts a true sanctuary of pampered wellbeing evoking the warmth and hospitality unique to this enchanting land. Nestled in lush tropical gardens, with hot and cold soaking pools, steam rooms, saunas, outdoor relaxation areas and a Yoga Garden. 13 private treatment villas are ensconced within secluded spaces of serenity and comfort, all with plush daybeds and some with an open-air garden pavilion and cabana.

Kids Program

KidsOnly Club allows children to have a world all of their own at One&Only Palmilla. Tucked away beneath the palms is a magical place, where younger kids can play, make new friends and experience kids-only activities that will make mom and dad jealous.
TeensOnly program provides structured activities every day for kids 12-16. Dedicated staff host teen specific craft activities, such as water sports and paddle boarding or enriching learning experiences such as cooking and art classes to inspire creativity. For additional fees, young people can take lessons in surfing, golf, tennis and more.

Family Information

For babies and toddlers, the resort offers professional baby-sitting, nanny services and baby cots. In-room video game equipment is available.
