About 40 miles south of Cancun near Playa del Carmen in the province of Quintana Roo, known for it's pristine beaches, lush forests, premier diving and snorkeling.

General Information

This resort encompasses 45 acres within a master planned luxury community. In addition to the Fairmont's 397 room resort property, the Mayakoba resort development houses additional hotel sites, two golf courses and residential properties. The various areas are connected by a series of deep lagoons enabling easy movement from place to place using complimentary 'lanchas', a covered canal boat service, as well as a network of well-marked nature trails. Room Details

397 guest rooms including 34 suites, are located in a low-rise hotel building and clustered throughout the property in 90 two-story Casitas with two to four rooms each. Categories range from generous Casita rooms to signature Lagoonviews and exclusive Beachfront Villas. Amenities include comfortable Fairmont beds and expansive bathrooms, each with a soaker tub, separate shower and a double vanity. Large sliding doors open to furnished balconies or terraces and all rooms offer both air conditioning and ceiling fans.

Golf

El Camaleon, Greg Norman's first Mexican course design. 18-hole, par 72, pro shop, lockers, bag storage, restaurant and bar. Water comes into play throughout this championship course with two holes designed around seaside features.

Spa

The 16,000 square feet Willow Stream Spa features 20 treatment rooms including a unique couple's suite in the treetops, plus two mineral pools and steam rooms. Services include distinctive treatments, incorporating indigenous ingredients and ancient native traditions. A full-service health club and beauty salon are also available.

Kids Program

Professionally organized children's activities are available. Baby-sitting service can be arranged through the Kid's Camp.
