The hotel was constructed to avoid as much impact on the environment as possible so that the iconic Mangrove trees and natural surroundings may continue to be enjoyed by Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort guests. Architected to preserve and showcase the property's existing Mangroves, these trees are prominently featured throughout the hotel's common grounds. The hotel continues to act as a gateway to the natural surroundings of Playa del Carmen.

Club King, Club View King, Club View Two Queens are models in the Grand Club and depending on the floor plan you will enjoy Hyatt Grand Beds, furnished balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows, walk-in showers with rain hand and wall showers, separate vanities, double sinks, iron/ironing boards, minibars, goose-feather pillows and duvets, safety boxes, ceiling fans, voicemail, dining areas, separate dressing areas with double closets, robes, slippers, in-room safes, windows that open, and garden, mangrove and Caribbean Sea views. Suite Details

Suites have access to the Grand Club Lounge with concierge service, continental breakfast, evening cocktails and hors d’oeuvres daily. A room with one king or two queen beds may connect if available.
Executive Suite King is 820 square feet with beachfront sea views and private, heated plunge pools.
Presidential Suites feature 1,230 square feet with living, dining rooms and heated plunge pools too.
