Silky Oaks Lodge adjoins the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest National Park, on the northern bank of the Mossman River Gorge. The lodge is about 30 minutes by car from Port Douglas, and a 90-minute drive from Cairns Airport.

Room Details

The Lodge accommodates 36 Treehouses each featuring wide verandahs and spa baths. All rooms feature air conditioning, ceiling fan, CD player, direct dial telephone, work desk, spa bath, bathrobes, tea & coffee making facilities, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, balcony, outdoor table & chairs, and a hammock.
The River Treehouse features spectacular rainforest views and you can listen to the soothing sounds of the Mossman River directly in front of you. Polished timber floors and elegant interiors make these rooms stylish and comfortable. A hammock straddles the balcony inviting you to slide open the tall glass doors to breathe in the perfume of the rainforest. A day bed and an arm chair and foot rest provide other options for relaxing. Make yourself a cup of tea and savour the selection of home made biscuits. As the evening envelopes you, relax in your own spa bath with uninterrupted views of the rainforest.

The Treehouse Restaurant is one of Northern Queensland's premier dining experiences and the open-sided restaurant offers sensational daintree rainforest and Mossman river views. The menu showcases the freshest local produce and fine Australian wines.
The Treehouse Bar allows you to enjoy a pre-dinner drink and select from the list of premium craft beers and ciders. Or maybe have one of our team whip up a cocktail made from Australian small batch Distilled Spirits and Liqueurs.
