In the south of the Tuscan region, one hour and a half south of Florence, in the Val d’Orcia area, Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco is a UNESCO protected site spanning nearly 5000 acres in the heart of the Brunello di Montalcino winemaking region.

General Information

After a careful restoration, Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco features Il Borgo – an original 18th century village with 23 suites, and 3 of the 11 villas - a winery producing Brunello di Montalcino, a culinary academy, an 18-hole Tom Weiskopf private golf course, Spa & fitness center and Kids Club. The Resort offers a variety of activities and experiences such as cooking lessons, wine tours and tastings, historical and cultural tours, hiking, biking, horseback riding, hot air ballooning and truffle hunting. Room Details

Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco offers 23 air-conditioned suites and 11 Villas. Suites are furnished with flat-panel televisions with satellite channels, DVD players, VCRs, and minibars. Bathrooms include phones and hair dryers. Rooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access. Business-friendly amenities include desks, safes, and direct-dial phones. Additionally, rooms include Nespresso machine and clock radios.

The Villas vary in size, each having from three to six bedrooms, and all feature outdoor heated stone infinity pools and inviting pergola-covered stone terraces. Additional comforts and facilities found at many of the villas include original outdoor wood-burning ovens, charming guest houses and private tennis courts.
