El Mangroove is located in the northwestern coastal region of the Guanacaste province in the coveted Papagayo Bay. It is situated on a natural mangrove and features a beachfront location with extensive ocean views. It's located only 20 minutes from touch down to sand, making it the closest resort to any international airport in Costa Rica. Spanning for 17 acres and embracing 150 meters of beach front, it’s also ideally located at only 15 minutes from the artsy and bustling town of El Coco.

El Mangroove is a luxury boutique resort with an all-inclusive option, located right on Playa Panama overlooking Papagayo Bay. El Mangroove's resort includes 85 suites of great design, impeccable service, numerous amenities, and access to a tranquil beach, making it perfect choice for couples and families alike.

Suite Details

Depending on the floorplan, Bark, Nesto and Root suite amenities include King or two Queen beds, 42”flat screen TVs, air conditioning, ceiling fans, one or two wireless and video-calling telephones, working stations, iPhone/iPad docking stations, alarm clock, walk-in closets, safety deposit boxes, mini bars, living room areas (some with a hammock), valet service kits, hairdryers, outdoor terraces and sofa beds within 485 to 732 square feet.
Upgrade to the Canopy or Mangle suites for additional amenities such as two 42-inch TVs and connecting Standard Double Rooms. Suite styles include the:
Master Superior with mangrove/jungle views and Master Grand with ocean views; both are 1,200 square feet.
Presidential Suites are a sprawling 1,668 square feet with a private sun deck and plunge pool, direct access to the beach, kitchen, private chef station and ocean view.

Restaurants

Sustainable comfort food with farm-to-table or ocean-to-table menus are a tradition in the making. A mix of ambiances and flavors, El Mangroove’s dining experiences will entice all pallets, from burger bashers to the appreciative catch of the day grillers. Casual dining throughout, with specialized restaurants including an oceanfront beach shack, and 24 hour private dining. You may also dine at the pool coveted with surrounding cabanas.
Makoko The main restaurant, we call this philosophy “makoko”. Because a gastronomical experience isn't confined by language and a savory dish on your table; it includes well-being, versatility, artistry and personalized attention. If good food is the way to the heart, Makoko is the scenic route.
Matiss A palette of flavors for your palate: Just like a painting comes to live when it's created with the perfect combination of colors, just like a dish cooked with the ideal mixture of condiments and atmosphere.

Recreation

El Mangroove offers yoga, wild fitness circuit and multifunctional gym. If you are inspired by the ocean take a stand up paddle session, go kayaking, go fishing, go surfing or simply go beach hopping with our on site boats. Feeling like knowing the area, bicycles are also available for guest use. Stretching over 130 feet, our pool gives way to an array of poolside lounges and private cabanas, creating the ultimate in beach life experience, where chilling is mandatory to the tunes of our resident and international DJs. For those who like a different mood El Mangroove offers from chilling sunsets, pool cocktails sessions, beach night barefoot events, full moon parties and cocktail star watching. Events are constantly planned and will be changed and enhanced from time to time.

Beach

The most beautiful coast line is only accessible by boat. Heading north we can visit 10 different secluded and underdeveloped beaches which are white sanded with turquoise water. You can snorkel in the reef, stand up paddle and enjoy a fantastic picnic lunch.

Spa
