Itinerary

Day 1: Portland, Maine | Welcome to Portland, a city combining active fishing wharves with shops and museums and begin your journey aboard the M/V Victory I.
Day 2: At Sea | Enjoy a day of scenic sailing as you make your way towards Halifax. Enjoy convivial conversation with your fellow passengers or join an engaging discussion with the shipboard experts, well-versed in the history, peoples, and natural wonders of the Canadian Atlantic region.
Day 3: Halifax, Nova Scotia | The elegant M/V Victory I awaits you at the Halifax Pier after a day of exploring. Discover the picturesque Citadel with regular re-enactments of the 87th Highlander regiment, The Halifax Museum of the Atlantic for a glimpse into Nova Scotia's maritime heritage and a drive to Peggy's Cove, a lovey maritime village. Then, back on board, enjoy the welcoming hospitality and personalized attention of the friendly and professional onboard staff. Settle into your stateroom before joining your fellow guests for dinner with free flowing house wines and cocktails.
Day 4: At Sea | Take advantage of your time at sea and lounge at the Observation deck with a morning coffee or an evening cocktail.
Day 5: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island | Located on Prince Edward Island, Canada's smallest and most charming province, Charlottetown showcases a wealth of natural beauty and history. In the morning, coaches leave the port and follow the historic trail walked by delegates to the conference that led to the Confederation of Canada. Make your way along the famous North Shore to Cavendish Bay, in Prince Edward Island National Park, to the farmstead that inspired L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables. Enjoy a walk through the house, stroll the haunted woods, Lovers' Lane, and the famous white shores of the bay. Visit the charming city center before returning to the ship for an exceptional dinner overlooking the sea.
Day 6: At Sea | Indulge yourself with one of the spa treatments at Latitude Salon and Spa for ultimate relaxation and wellness.
Day 7: Whale Watching and Tadoussac | Tadoussac, where the Saint Lawrence River meets the outflow of the Saguenay River, is one of the most exciting whale-watching sites in the world. Between May and October, up to 13 species of cetaceans make their way upriver from the Atlantic Ocean, to become temporary residents in the salty rich waters of the Saint Lawrence. Watch in awe of these mammals including blue whales, the largest animals on the planet, and the impressive humpbacks, which swim up into the mouth of the Saguenay Fjord near Tadoussac to feed.
Day 8: Quebec City, Quebec | Quebec City is the only walled community in North America and is deeply engaged in preserving its history and its unique place in Canada. Coaches depart for the Plains of Abraham where the battle between invading English and French defenders took place as the English stormed the upper city and captured the town. Then, travel onward to Place Royale in the lower-town, which was bombarded in 1759 from across the river. Enjoy a drive out of Quebec City to see the historical and majestic Montmorency Falls, including a cable car ride to the top where you will admire magnificent views across to the Ile d'Orleans. In the afternoon, guests are encouraged to stroll at their leisure to the port to visit the Petit Champlain and take the funicular railway to the Chateau Frontenac and its magnificent Dufferin Terrace.
Day 9: Montreal, Quebec | In 2017, Montreal celebrated its 375th birthday, making it one of the oldest cities in North America. Situated on the Saint Lawrence River, it remains important an crossroad for shipping by land and sea, with a rich history of Iroquois, colonial, and cosmopolitan settlements. Enjoy a walking experience of the Old City with a visit to the Notre Dame Basilica. Explore Montreal old and new with a drive through the downtown business district to the top of Mont Royal for a commanding view of the city and the Staint Lawrence River. Afterwards, visit one of the world's largest and most important Botanical Gardens in downtown Montreal.
Day 10: At Sea |Share stories with friends and travelers at the Tavern or lounge and soak up the sun rays at the aft deck as you enjoy a day of sailing.
Day 11: Toronto, Ontario | This morning, you will awaken at the port in Toronto, Ontario. After breakfast, disembark the M/V Victory I and make your way to the airport for your flight home or to your post hotel stay in Toronto.
