Type of Vessel

Star Pride All Suite Yacht
With only 212 guests, a Star Pride cruise will make you feel like you're on board your own private yacht almost as soon as you step aboard.

The sitting area of your spacious, newly refurbished suite gives you an expansive ocean view — making it a welcome retreat.

When you're ready to make an appearance, the lounges, club, casino and library are waiting to be explored. Take some "you" time in the tranquil WindSpa . . . enjoy a dip in the pool . . . work off that decadent dessert in the Fitness Center . . . and, of course, you are always welcome to visit the Bridge to examine navigation charts with the Captain.

Star Pride is large enough to pamper and entertain you, yet small enough to tuck into delightful tiny harbors and hidden coves that others can’t reach.

Itinerary

Reverse options available

Day 1: Colón, Panama I Colón’s history has always been defined by the desire for the riches of its natural resources. From its gold and silver to its value as a trade route made possible by the Panama Canal, Colón is today known for the Zona Libre – the largest free-trade zone in the Americas. The Zona Libre links producers in North America, the Far East, and Europe with the Latin American market. As such, it is home to more than 1,600 companies and several dozen banks. Far less commercial, the area surrounding the city encompasses pristine beaches, lowland rainforests, splendid colonial architecture, and wonders of modern engineering. This variety of environments allows a wide range of activities that include snorkeling in the clear Caribbean waters, exploring ruins, or even marveling at the massive locks on the other side of the Panama Canal.
Day 2: Panama Canal, Panama I Over the 10-hour transit through the Panama Canal you will enter three sets of locks that raise and lower the vessel 85 feet between the calm Pacific Ocean and the shimmering waters of the Atlantic. Your voyage features a daylight hours transit with numerous observation vantage points for outside viewing and comfortable indoor air-conditioned lounges. Expert onboard commentary enhances your journey as you watch the day to day workings of this bucket list experience.
Day 4: I Covering 430,825 pristine acres, the island of Coiba has been identified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and offers some of the world’s most superb snorkeling. The warm, translucent waters are teeming with dazzling marine life and surrounded by one of the largest coral reefs on the Pacific. Follow them to the underwater Cordilera mountain chain, which extends as far as the Galápagos Islands.
Day 5: Golfo Dulce (Puerto Jimenez), Costa Rica I Picture Jurassic foliage growing down steep hillsides all the way to the waterline, the hoots of monkeys echoing through trees choked by orchids. Golfo Dulce is one of Costa Rica’s most biodiverse areas, where both the jungle and the sea brim with life. Explore the canals by kayak in search of javelinas, butterflies, and more bird species than in all of North America.
Day 6: Bahia Drake, Costa Rica I Believed to be a port visited by Sir Frances Drake in the 16th century, Bahía Drake is actually composed of two towns, Agujitas, along the southern shore of the bay; and Drake, to the north. The beautiful and remote coastline of sparkling coves, pristine beaches, and rocky crags extends for miles and the bay can only be reached by road during the dry season. Bahia Drake offers so much variety in activities for you. Come ashore by Zodiac to explore one of Costa Rica’s most remote destinations with its vast rainforest and expansive mangroves – home to howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, crocodiles, frogs and more. Traverse the rainforest’s canopy on a ziplining tour from treetop to treetop or join a naturalist guide on a horseback ride and explore the beaches, rivers, waterfalls, and tropical rainforests of the region. Snorkel the warm blue waters off Cano Island, a spectacular marine biological reserve where you’ll find sea turtles, dolphins, parrot fish, manta rays and more in the coral reef and surrounding waters. Take a boat ride through the enormous expansive mangroves or join a hiking tour through the peaceful green world of the Osa Biological Corridor listening for red macaws, toucans and other small mammals.
Day 7: Quepos, Costa Rica I The former banana-exporting town of Quepos is your basecamp for a day of rainforest adventure. Take a walk along trails that weave up to waterfalls, or ride horseback to a beautiful jungle pool. A float trip through a mangrove swamp populated by monkeys, crocodiles, egrets, and herons is also available. Or you may choose a nature walk through Manuel Antonio National Park, with its lovely beaches, easy trails, and abundant animal life.
Day 8: Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica I Absorb Costa Rica’s magnificent biodiversity by adding a land package to your cruise. Venture to the Monteverde Cloud Forest, where 300-year-old trees and orchids form a spectacular backdrop to resplendent quetzals, tapirs, monkeys, sloths, and other rainforest residents. Or to Tortuguero National Park, one of the most remote places in Costa Rica, known for being a primary nesting site of endangered green turtles. .
