Itinerary

Day 1 Your Home Town / Colorado, Beaver Creek

Hop in your car rental with unlimited miles or board your comfortable flight for an adventurous getaway to Beaver Creek. A welcome getaway to green mountains and pines, Beaver Creek offers a respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday. Upon arrival, check-in to The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch for five relaxing nights in a One-bedroom Executive suite with exclusive Club Level lounge amenities including a dedicated Club Lounge Concierge and food presentations throughout the day. Your suite provides a separate living room and fireplace, and features panoramic views of The Bachelor Gulch ski area on Beaver Creek Mountain or the Vail Valley.

This evening, enjoy the resort's Whiskey & Wood-burning activity, where you will use a wood burning tool to etch a personalized design into a wooden cutting board or coaster set as you enjoy your perfect glass of wine or a whiskey cocktail and mocktails for the kids.

Day 2 Picture Perfect Golf or Ski-time fun

In the winter, take to the slopes with easy ski-in/ski-out access as you experience the thrill of skiing or snowboarding amidst majestic mountain backdrops, concluding your day with Family Grotto Night, soaking in the spa's rock-lined hot tub. In the fall, spring or summer head to the Red Sky Golf Club, offering two golf courses designed by Greg Norman and Tom Fazio. Enjoy access to the 13,000-square-foot Guest Clubhouse, located on the 7,113-yard Fazio course. Or, venture to one of the several other golf courses situated in the Vail Valley.

Or, enjoy the resort's Photography Concierge as you engage in a photo session to capture your family memories amidst the mountainside. Afterwards, enjoy Painting & Pinot, sipping wine as the majestic backdrops surrounding you inspire your one-of-a-kind artwork. While you engage your inner-artist, the kids will have fun at the Ritz Kids program with unique activities centered around adventure, creativity and wellness.

This evening, enjoy live music at the Great Room, featuring a three-story, wood-burning fireplace and breathtaking views of Bachelor Gulch.

Day 3  Spa Indulgence and Kids Escape

Today, the children will delight in the Ritz Kids program, offering a dedicated ski school for children in the winter, and swim lessons in the summer. Your children will also enjoy hikes in the fresh mountain air and dedicated children's activities, learning about the area's history.

While the children indulge in all things kids, stroll to The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Bachelor Gulch for the ultimate in relaxation. The 21,000-square-foot retreat is nestled into the mountain and features treatments utilizing local ingredients, such as charcoal from the Colorado mines. Take a dip in the plunge pool before indulging in the Miner's Mineral Mud Wrap, featuring Colorado's charcoal mud known for detoxification. The mud is paired with amethyst oil, rose quartz salt, and shea butter, promoting pure tranquility. In addition to your body wrap, savor a full body exfoliation, scalp massage, hydrotherapy bath and full body massage.

This evening, dine at the resort's signature restaurant, Wyld, enjoying local ingredients and seasonal flavors. Enjoy a cocktail in the Wyld Terrace Bar as you take-in the stunning views. Wood accents and a picturesque fireplace adorn the restaurant as you indulge in Colorado cuisine. After dining, return to your suite where the kids will enjoy an in-room camping experience, complete with treats.

Days 4 - 5  Nature Exploration & Ski Exhilaration

Enjoy the numerous activities of the area during the fall, spring or summer. Try your hand at fly fishing on Gore Creek or in the Eagle or Colorado rivers, organically fed by the water from the surrounding mountains. Offering half-day or full-day family adventure, catch Brown, Cutthroat, Rainbow, and Brook trout during this outdoor bonding experience.

Or, opt to hike the Vail Valley, home to The White River National Forest with more than 860 miles of trails to explore. For the very athletic, 14,000-foot peaks abound, offering a perfect summer adventure. Another must-do, white whitewater rafting in the High Country offers a much sought-after family experience complete with an adrenaline rush!

In the peak of winter, hit the slopes, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Situated in Beaver Creek's 1,800 acres of diverse terrain and 15 minutes from Vail Valley, with 5,300 acres and seven miles of mountain front, the resort offers the perfect starting point for the best in skiing.

Enjoy ski-in/-out privileges, an in-house outfitter, a ski and snowboard school, a dedicated concierge and a ski nanny program, allowing parents to fit in first and last runs while their children enjoy breakfast, snacks, and transport to ski school. For an alternative to downhill skiing, try your hand at snowshoeing or cross country skiing at McCoy Park, Beaver Creek ski resort's dedicated Nordic Center. Enjoy almost 20 miles of varied terrain catered to all levels. Delight in the resort's Family Snowshoe Adventure, offering an introduction to the sport. After your introduction, enjoy a scavenger hunt in the forest, looking for animal tracks and signs.

This evening, relish Japanese cuisine at Sakaba as you savor a four-course Omakase experience consisting of a variety of fresh fish flown in daily from Japan. Pair your meal with a wide selection of sake or craft cocktails for the perfect way to end your day.

Day 6  Beaver Creek, Colorado / Your Home Town

For a summer visit, start your day early with a hot air balloon ride, soaring over the stunning Rockies. Conclude with a post balloon flight champagne toast and certificate of completion.

Then, head back to the resort and visit Espresso Chair 16 for gourmet coffee, freshly made pastries and fresh fruit before hopping in your car rental for you scenic drive home or to the airport.
