Day 1 | Your Home Town / Palm Springs, California

Just a short flight or a scenic drive from your home town, arrive in Palm Springs with your immediate and extended family, where you will continue on to your premier resort or pick up your Hertz rental cars with pre-registration and unlimited mileage. This evening, dine at Morgan's in the Desert, the resort's signature dining venue showcasing contemporary American cuisine inspired by the bounty of the Coachella Valley. Begin with a Charcuterie and Artisan Cheese platter to share with your family, then feast on Chilean sea bass, a Nottingham Ranch lamb saddle, Wagyu Zabuton steak or wild mushroom and black truffle risotto, then conclude with a sweet lemon curd or chocolate bombe treat.

Day 2 |  Resort Fun & Relaxation

Begin the morning with a scrumptious breakfast on your balcony. Afterwards, head to one of the 41 onsite pools; with family, adult-only and spa options, there is something for everyone. Enjoy a private hidden pool under the palms, relax in a poolside cabana or take the family to the main pool for an afternoon of fun.

After a day of sun and play, enjoy dinner at Adobe Grill, a traditional Mexico dining experience with an Oaxacan motif and double-sided fireplace. Sip on your bespoke margarita as you and your family watch the tableside guacamole and salsa presentation. Then choose from empanadas, ceviche, tacos, mole and fajita specialties. Arroz, frijoles, chiles, ensalada de esquites sides are served family-style, ideal for everyone to try a bit of it all.

Day 3 |  Palm Springs Exploration

This desert retreat offers easy access to explore some of California's unique experiences. Wander the Coachella Valley Nature Preserve, a palm- and cactus-filled oasis, or take a Windmill Tour with behind- the-gates access to learn about sustainable energy and the history of wind energy. For the active family members, consider an ATV ride through the desert, a horseback ride at Smoketree Stables or a hike at Joshua Tree National Park or in Tahquitz Canyon.

After a day of exploration, head to El Paseo in downtown Palm Desert for some upscale shopping and a plethora of dining choices. Just a few options include the rustic-chic backdrop and wood-oven pizzas at Il Corso, the French fare at Le Paon, the comfort food classics at Daily Grill or the Asian dishes at Tahi Smile.

Day 4 |  Golf Adventures

Enjoy another cozy morning in the comfort of your suite with breakfast as you prepare for a day of ultimate experiences. Begin the day at one of the five championship courses. The par-72 Stadium Course was designed by Pete Dye, as was the ultra-challenging Mountain Course, known for its pot bunkers, rock formations and elevated tee boxes and the Dune Course offering traditional rolling-links style golf with Scottish and Irish flare. Or, tee off at the Jack Nicklaus-designed course with its challenging desert layout, ideal for long hitters. The Audubon Certified Greg Norman gem features an abundance of sand, pockets of wildflowers, nine lakes and panoramic vistas.

After a day on the greens, enjoy a casual family dinner at Twenty6. This modern American bistro offers an innovate approach to familiar favorites using locally sourced ingredients. The kids will happily dig in to the Bistro Burger or grilled chicken sandwich with fries, while the adults can feast on scallops, salmon, prime rib or an Angus filet. Finish with a spiced prickly pear mocktail for the kids and the signature pepino sour cocktail for the grown-ups.

Day 5 |  Spa Indulgence

It's time for a day of rest and relaxation as you awaken your senses with a yoga and mindfulness class. Discover ancient eastern methods designed to cultivate compassion, acceptance, balance, willpower and self-love. Then visit Spa La Quinta for a replenishing body renewal or skin care treatment. Choose from contouring body wraps, desert agave nectar therapies and zen bath rituals to renew your body, or try a hydrafacial, skin therapy facial or a gentlemen's custom facial to replenish your skin. While the spa is for adults only, the kids can enjoy a leisurely day at your suite's private pool, ordering room service and soaking up the sun to their hearts' content.

Day 6 | Day at Leisure

With so many things to do in the area, the possibilities are endless. Visit the Palm Springs Art Museum for an afternoon of cultural discovery; explore The Living Desert, a zoo featuring the desert's most famous animals and a botanical garden; take in the amazing views on the Palm Springs Aerial Tram; or head to the Painted Canyon for a self-guided hike through multiple canyon slots along the San Andreas.
