Suite Details

The designer interiors of these Koloa vacation rentals feature high ceilings, indoor/outdoor living spaces, hand-scraped hardwood floors and paneled walls. The granite-countered kitchens boast top of the line appliances from Wolf ranges to Sub-Zero refrigerators to Bosch dishwashers, ensuring that all time spent in the heart of the home is wrapped in luxury.
Club Bungalows offer a master suite that contains a king bed and large ensuite bathroom, complete with free-standing soaking tub and private outdoor shower. The plantation-style Kaua’i Bungalows all feature an expansive lanai (porch) and outdoor BBQ.
Club Cottages include a two-bedroom main house with detached one-bedroom ‘ohana with full bathroom, closet and a private lanai. Dark Ipe wood flooring, custom mahogany doors, honed granite and Carrara marble create an elevated feel to the island style house. Each LEED certified cottage enjoys a large kitchen-centric great room and two screened-in porches, allowing the soft Hawaiian breeze to flow through the home. The bedrooms feature king beds and ensuite bathrooms including dual sink Carrara marble vanities, pedestal tubs and outdoor lava rock showers. The plantation-style cottages all have a private yard with fire pit and seating, allowing even more places to relax in the vacation rentals on the south shore of Kaua'i.

Villa Description

Club Villas allow you to enter into the private courtyard where the main house welcomes you home. The Poipu Kaua'i villas feature open floor plans that are designed to allow families, friends and loved ones to relax and reconnect in comfort. The kitchen is open to the landscape, with a glass backsplash and lined with windows. A Sub-zero refrigerator and wine fridge, Wolf range with griddle, Bosch dishwasher and slab granite counters ensure that all time spent in the kitchen is elevated with top-of-the-line equipment. Each bedroom has an attached full bathroom with lava rock outdoor showers and marble vanity with Hansgrohe faucets. The contemporary living space continues outside with a large covered lanai, accessible through the pocket doors that tuck away for true indoor-outdoor living. The private pool is just beyond the lanai and ringed with Kaua’i’s verdant greenery.

Restaurants

’Umeke Bar + Grill brings Kaua'i fresh cuisine to new heights in this hyper local restaurant. Working with local ranchers, purveyors, fisherman and The Farm, Chef Takahashi's dishes are rooted in Hawaiian Regional cuisine. Pair your meals with craft beers, cocktails and sommelier wine pairings.
Makai Grill + Bar offers a poolside eatery that specializes in no-fuss dishes made with produce from The Farm. Featuring local specialties like poke bowls and musubis, plus salads and sandwiches the lunch menu is sure to delight. Makai Grill + Bar is open for lunch, snack and bar service daily and dinner on Sundays.

Recreation

Huaka’i Outfitters features a facility that allows guests to try a new hobby with top notch gear that is available.
Makai Pool Complex rests between the Clubhouse and the ocean. It begins with an elevated infinity edge serenity pool. Below, the saltwater lagoon style pools and hot tubs flow together connected by cascading waterfalls, giving kids and kids-at-heart the perfect place to play. A beach entry pool leads right to the edge of the Makai Grill + Bar, allowing guests to seamlessly flow from fun to food and back again.

Beach

The beaches on the south shore of Kaua’i are sun drenched and breezy in summer. Mahaulepu Beach is isolated and charming, near the end of the Mahaulepu Beach Heritage Trail. Poipu Beach is perfect for families and has been rated as the best beach in America. Hanalei Bay Pavilion, on the island’s north shore, is in the center of a two-mile crescent bay with facilities perfect for a day trip in winter. Fuji Beach, on the east side, is popular for exploring tide pools, while Polihale Beach on the west side is great for enjoying Kauai’s spectacular sunsets.

Golf

The 18-hole Tom Weiskopf designed course has been described as “one of the best courses in Hawaii.” Be one of the lucky few to hit the oceanfront fairways with dramatic sea cliffs and prime whale and dolphin viewing vantages. Nearby Attractions

The Arts & Culture scene on Kaua’i is anchored by the Kaua’i Museum as well as the Grove Farm Sugar Plantation and Museum in Lihue. Each summer, Bon Dances are held at the Japanese Buddhist temples around the island. In the fall, there are hula competitions, and slack key guitar and ukulele competitions are a regular fixture in Hanalei.
For hikers, there are two of the world’s most incredible trails to explore on foot on Kaua'i. The Na Pali coast on the north shore offers a multi-day backpacking route, or a day hike on the Hanakapi’ai Trail to a breathtaking waterfall with a rewarding swimming hole. On the island’s south shore is Waimea Canyon, “the Grand Canyon of the Pacific” with views deep into the earth, waterfalls, and rainbows. For paddlers, the Wailua River is a lush boulevard into the island’s interior. And on the south shore, adventure seekers can choose zip lines, horseback, or 4x4 excursions to get intimate with the open landscape.
