The lodge’s comfortable bungalows and elegant suites are nestled between a pristine wilderness reserve and the Pacuare River – Costa Rica’s most spectacular white water route. It is surrounded by tropical rainforest where colorful birds and butterflies can be found.

The Pacuare Lodge is truly unique – a jungle lodge where gourmet dinners are accompanied by candlelight and a wine list, and where adventure travel activities are complemented by a spa, honeymoon packages and suites with private pools. It is also an exemplary ecolodge that conserves 740 acres of rainforest, and is committed to mitigating tourism’s impact through eco-friendly accommodations and projects that benefit local communities.

Room Details

Pacuare Lodge offers stand-alone bungalows with palm-thatched roofs and terraces with views of the rain forest and/or Pacuare River. Accommodations feature hardwood flooring, sitting areas, and canopy beds. Private bathrooms include outdoor showers with solar heated water. In an effort to preserve the property’s peaceful environment, all bungalows are electricity free, except for the Jungle View Rooms, which have limited electricity.
Jungle View Rooms The jungle view rooms were especially designed for families. These two rooms are located in the second level of a two story building. They are tastefully decorated and features a canopy king size bed or two canopy full size beds, hardwood flooring, spacious terrace with hammock, and a private bathroom with heated water and rainforest view. These rooms are the only ones on our property that have limited electricity to illuminate the room & bathroom. The rooms feature one canopy king-size bed or two canopy full size beds, a private bathroom, heated shower, private terrace, bathrobes, in room telephone to communicate with main lodge and bungalows, and a safety deposit box.

Spa

At the Pacuare Lodge´s Jawa Juü Spa, the soothing power of the rainforest is put into rhythmic massages and spa treatments with local, natural products to create a blissful sensory experience for the body and the mind.

Land price is per person based on double occupancy (unless noted) for select travel dates shown. Air-inclusive vacations are for gateways noted. Rate quoted includes government-imposed fees and taxes and any necessary currency exchange rates. Rate is current when priced, at the time you purchase your vacation, rate may be higher. Rate does not include any applicable daily resort or facility fees (and in Europe, city tourist taxes) payable directly to the resort at check-out; such fees will be advised at the time of booking.
